THE SURVIVOR AND THE TRANSLATOR: a solo theater work about not having experienced the Holocaust, by a daughter of concentration camp survivors. It was awarded The Villager Outstanding Performance Award (1981), a Creative Artists Program Service (CAPS) Fellowship in Multi-Media (1980-81), and was cited in TIME-OUT’s (Britain) Most Memorable Shows list (1980-81). The text of THE SURVIVOR AND THE TRANSLATOR was published by Theater Communications Group in Lenora Champagne’s anthology, OUT FROM UNDER: Texts By Women Performance Artists (1990), and by University of Wisconsin Press in Robert Skloot's, The Theatre of the Holocaust, Volume 2 (1999). My biography appears in Holocaust Literature: An Encyclopedia of Writers and Their Work, ed. S. Lillian Kremer (Routledge, NY, 2000).
